Light Beers vs White Beers: The Differences
- Light Beers: lightly roasted malts, golden or straw color — Pilsner, Lager, Blonde Ale, Kölsch
- White Beers (Witbier/Blanche): a subgroup of light beers, cloudy and unfiltered, with wheat, coriander, and bitter orange peel — citrusy and spicy notes
- Rule: all white beers are light, but not all light beers are white
