In 2013, four friends united by a passion for food values and beer experimentation created a unique craft beer brand in the heart of the Abruzzo Apennines. They are Luigi Recchiuti (owner and head brewer of the Opperbacco Microbrewery in Notaresco, who left the partnership in 2016), Alfredo Giugno (current head brewer), Loreto Lamolinara (owner of a distribution company in the craft beer sector), and Tonino Ventilii (owner of a workshop in Senarica where fruit jams were once made, now the site of the new brewery).
