Baladin, from pioneer absolute, at the same time as a handful of other dreamers - more than brewers - in 1996, Teo Musso founded the Baladin Brewery and laid the roots of the Italian craft beer movement. And he did it in his hometown, Piozzo, in the heart of the Langhe, land of great wines.
What had partly started 10 years earlier, in his pub Le Baladin, is a true revolution: in Italy, a culture made of beers different from those you could find in other bars or supermarkets was brought by Teo Musso. And he continues to spread it thanks to his thousand projects, which involve the entire supply chain of craft beers, "From the Earth to the Beer," as the title of one of his books.
His craft beers, the famous Baladin Beers, have been trailblazers for many of us in the world of craft beers, and we like the idea that they can continue to be so, in part, also through Maltese beer.
