Drinking good Belgian beers in Italy is easy, fortunately we know many labels that have made Belgium a brewing giant in the world, as they have been arriving in our country continuously for decades. Drinking good beers in Belgian style, but produced by Italian craft breweries is already more difficult. With Extraomnes, you can be sure.
Known especially for its high-alcohol and very dry beers, the brewery in Marnate has set the standard throughout the boot. Its master brewer, Luigi D'Amelio known as "Schigi", is one of those producers with excellent skills even in sensory analysis and this is a great advantage, which directly impacts the quality of the beers.
But Extraomnes is not just Belgian inspiration, because, despite an old interview from the early days of the brand in which Schigi states that his first four beers will be the only ones in production, today it actually offers a wide range. Plenty of hops, often paired with Belgian yeasts, and even low fermentations.
A complete brewery, one of the first to re-ferment beers in cans, that continues to amaze even with some occasional one shots.
