Galway Bay Brewery was born when some friends got tired of the Irish beer scene and decided to do something new. In 2009, they opened one of the only Irish brewpubs, The Oslo Bar in Salthill, Galway, a beautiful seaside town on Ireland's west coast. They started with a rather simple setup, producing two beers that went straight from the conditioning tank to the taps. Over ten years and three moves later, Galway Bay Brewery's current location is in Oranmore, just outside Galway, offering the space, light, and freedom to expand and experiment. With a core range of seven beers, including typical Irish Red Ale and Irish Stout, and monthly releases ranging from fruity Sours to big barrel-aged beers, this Irish brewery's production covers a whole spectrum of interesting flavors.
