The Boerenerf means, in Flemish, "the farm". In all respects, that of Huizingen - a locality in the municipality of Beersel - is a farm, where barley and a lot of fruit are grown. It was brought back to its primary vocation, that of Geuzestekerij, which has long been suffocated, by Senne Eylenbosch, a young blender ex 3 Fonteinen who has been producing masterpiece after masterpiece since 2021. Belonging to the fifth generation of the family, Senne wanted to give a more modern touch to the brand's communication, also thanks to the collaboration with Vincent Alluin, while still remaining anchored to tradition in the production processes. The Lambic he uses for his blends comes from three famous producers of Pajottenland, De Troch, Lindemans, and, of course, 3 Fonteinen. Very interesting are also the hybrids between the Lambic and the wines and ciders produced in-house at Boerenerf, which give rise to unique and elegant products.
