Wold Top Brewery

Wold Top was founded in 2003 by farmers Tom and Gill, who were looking for different ways to support the family farm through diversification and chose beer production as a solution!
They want to produce beer with excellent taste, using homegrown ingredients and sustainably sourced materials, to be enjoyed by the rest of Yorkshire and the world!
For this, they have spent the last decades working hard to refine and improve their craft, to offer a range of beers full of character and flavor.
The family has been farming 600 acres of land on the Yorkshire Wolds for generations, and the goal is to continue doing so! Sustainability is fundamental, so they are committed to working in harmony with nature. They plant trees and hedges to offset their carbon footprint, create areas for the well-being of birds, wildlife, and bees, which are essential for plant pollination, and use crop rotation to keep the soil in good condition. Last but not least, they also use renewable energy from owned wind turbines and utilize water from natural gypsum aquifers located beneath the farmland.
