Fresh and colorful summer skewers with sweet melon, creamy mozzarella, and bresaola, finished with a light IPA beer glaze. Elegant finger food, no cooking required, ready in 10 minutes.
Ingredients (for 4 people)
- ½ cantaloupe melon (or reticulated)
- 250 g fiordilatte mozzarella (or cherry mozzarella)
- 100 g bresaola
- 100 ml IPA beer
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh mint to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Instructions
- Glaze – Mix the IPA beer with honey and lemon juice until you get a smooth sauce. Keep refrigerated.
- Preparation – Cut the melon into cubes or balls using a melon baller. Cut the mozzarella into similar cubes. Roll the bresaola slices into rosettes.
- Skewers – Assemble the skewers by alternating melon, mozzarella, and rolled bresaola on each stick.
- Dressing – Arrange the skewers on a serving plate. Drizzle with the IPA glaze and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Finishing – Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a grind of black pepper. Serve immediately well chilled with an IPA.
