Collection: Achel Craft Brewery

Achel Birrificio Artigianale. Until very recently, Achel's labels featured the hexagon "Authentic Trappist Product," but no longer. The beers and the production facility have not changed, but there is a fundamental distinction from those that are still Trappist beers: there are no longer monks overseeing production at Achelse Kluis. It remains a very fascinating place to visit, still in Belgium but on the border with the Netherlands, and a highly reputable brewery that continues to produce excellent liquid testimonies of the Flemish tradition.
