Monpiër comes from the Ladin "mo n pier" — the typical phrase said by someone wanting another beer. A name that is already an invitation, a toast, a state of mind.

Founded in Ortisei in 2016, Monpiër is the first craft brewery of Val Gardena. It was born from the desire to take on a challenge by four locals — Carmelo, Diego, Jan, and Tobia — who found a common denominator in beer.

Monpiër’s beers are named after the surrounding mountains and their respective heights: each label is a dedication and a hymn to the rock-solid beauty of the Dolomites.
