Porta Bruciata — A Medieval Tower of Brescia, Survived the Fire Since 1184

Founded in 2014 and operating since the following year, the Porta Bruciata brewery takes its name from a medieval Tower of Brescia, the city of its founding partners. In 1184, a devastating fire razed much of the city — but that Gate stood firm. Burned, but remained. While everything else disappeared.

At the same time a tribute to the territory and a symbol of openness to the outside world: from that ancient Gate, people went towards Milan, towards the West, towards the West. Under its arches, over the centuries, historical and legendary figures passed through, traveling to mysterious places.

Today, the brewery offers beers that carry the aromas of distant lands, yet at the same time welcome you with the familiarity and simplicity of home. A state-of-the-art brewhouse, a cellar in continuous evolution: innovative techniques and centuries-old traditions intertwine daily in a brewery that, step by step, has carved out an important space in the Italian craft beer world.
