Drake is the Belgian Tripel from Birrificio Altotevere: a beer inspired by the great Belgian Trappist tradition, built around the vigorous aromatic symphony of Trappist yeast. Deep golden in color, with a smooth, enveloping body and a surprisingly dry, easy-drinking finish. Appearances can be deceiving — as the Tripel tradition demands: golden in color, easy to drink, and with 8.5% ABV that only makes itself known when it is too late.

The true aromatic engine is the Trappist yeast strain: fermenting at warm temperatures, it generates a symphony of fruity and spicy aromas without the aid of added spices — citrus, tropical fruit, and delicate ethereal notes.
