Margose
Margose is the Gose from Birranova, a brewery from Puglia: a beer made from an extraordinary and very rare ingredient in Italian brewing — Mediterranean seawater, which is included in the recipe bringing all the saltiness and character of the southern sea.
With a bright opal yellow color, Margose is an authentic, local Gose. On the nose, you can detect citrus and iodine notes that immediately evoke the sea breeze of Puglia. On the palate, the sensations of saltiness and acidity blend with rare harmony, creating a unique, refreshing, and surprisingly pleasant beer — the sea in a sip.
Tasting notes:
- Nose: citrus, iodine, saltiness, fresh and mineral marine notes
- Palate: salty, acidic, fresh, light-bodied with a clean and long marine finish
- Appearance: opal yellow, Gose with seawater, highly drinkable and refreshing
Perfect served cold paired with raw seafood, oysters, fried fish, or as a summer aperitif by the seaside.
