After an initial foray into the Belgian world with the Saison Struzzati!, at Birrificio Exuvia, a craft brewery from Campo Ligure (Genoa, Liguria), a Tripel was also born: Trauma. An intensely aromatic beer, with warm, spicy, and fruity tones resting on a well-structured, slightly sweet base. The yeast strain used is of Belgian origin and particularly "exuberant": hence the dry body and 9.5% ABV, which are well integrated in the drinking experience. The sip finishes with a necessary floral and bitter contribution from the old world hops.
