Weisse al Farro
Weisse al Farro is the Weizen of Birra del Carrobiolo: an Italian interpretation of the great Bavarian Weizens, with a unique local touch — the raw unmalted spelt from Brianza, which makes up 33% of the recipe.
Pale, hazy, and fragrant, it captures the entire tradition of German wheat beer reinterpreted with an ancient and local grain from Brianza. The raw spelt adds rustic complexity and a smooth texture, while the typical Weizen yeast imparts its characteristic notes of banana and clove.
Tasting notes:
- Aroma: banana, clove, wheat, herbal notes of spelt
- Palate: smooth, velvety, fresh, with a slight acidity and clean finish
- Body: pale and hazy, cloudy, effervescent, and refreshing
Perfect cold in a 33cl bottle, paired with fish dishes, salads, fresh cheeses, or as a characterful summer aperitif. Territory and tradition in every sip.
