Anime in Cans — Belgian Pale Ale in the Antwerp Style — De Alchemia

Anime in Cans is one of the few Italian examples of Belgian Pale Ale inspired by classic interpretations of the style born in Antwerp. Why Antwerp? Because Pale Ales from the most modern Belgian breweries — especially those in Brussels — are golden, often very light, and intensely hopped with American varieties. In Antwerp, however, a Belgian Pale Ale is amber-colored, around 6% ABV, with caramelized malt nuances and more traditional hopping.

This is what De Alchemia aims to recreate with Anime: a beer that is truly rare in the Italian context, faithful to an often-forgotten tradition.
