BB5 — Italian Grape Ale with Nuragus — Barley Brewery, Sardinia

BB5 was created in the summer of 2017 to fight the "Calàma" — the scorching heat of Cagliari. Nicola Perra from Barley takes Belgian Saisons as a starting point, adding his Sardinian touch: cooked and fresh Nuragus must, a native white grape variety from the island.

The citrus and floral hints already present on the nose meet a pleasant acidity on the palate that adds elegance and refreshes. The perfect beer for the Sardinian summer — and any summer.
