Guldenberg

De Ranke is a brewery that has become famous worldwide for its very bitter interpretations of Belgian styles, which with Guldenberg also manages to impress in its take on a Tripel. On the nose and palate, yellow-fleshed fruit, spicy and herbal notes prevail. A Tripel that deviates quite a bit from the Westmalle standards, with "only" 8% ABV and a bitter finish that is the stylistic hallmark of the producer from Dottignies.
