Cuvée de Zrisa
Cuvée de Zrisa is one of the most complex and fascinating beers from Ca’ del Brado, the Bologna brewery that elegantly inhabits the boundary between beer and natural wine. The name reveals everything: zrisa is the marasca cherry in Croatian — the fruit that gives soul and identity to this extraordinary beer.
Of deep ruby color, it features fruity notes of cherry and a pronounced freshness from white fruit that lightens and enlivens the sip. A spicy hint and the tart notes of marasca and leather add complexity and depth, while a subtle acetic presence intertwines with the complexity conferred by the wood in a balance that recalls the great natural wines of the region. A beer that evolves in the glass and surprises with every sip.
Tasting notes:
- Nose: cherry, marasca, fresh white fruit, spices, leather, wood, and delicate acetic notes
- Palate: ruby, tart and complex, cherry as the protagonist, wood prominent, long and evolving finish
- Structure: ruby beer, wood, marasca, acetic, suitable for aging
To be served in a wine glass. Perfect paired with aged cheeses, charcuterie, red meats, or on its own as a meditation beer.
