Triplipa
Triplipa is the hybrid beer from Microbrewery Opperbacco, one of the most creative realities in the Italian craft scene from Abruzzo: the name says it all — Triple + IPA — and the beer keeps its promise until the last sip.
It takes the Belgian Triple malts and yeast, which provide body, sweetness, and that typical fermentative complexity of great abbey beers. From the IPA, it takes the intense hopping, further enhanced by the dry hopping that adds aromatic freshness and olfactory depth. The result is a blonde, bitter yet drinkable beer, which plays with the thousand shades of the hops used without ever losing balance — a successful hybrid, where the two styles enhance each other.
Tasting notes:
- Aroma: aromatic hops, fruit, spicy notes from Belgian yeast, fresh and intense dry hopping
- Palate: blonde, bitter, medium body, balanced malt sweetness, and persistent hoppy finish
- Structure: hybrid Triple IPA, dry hopping, Belgian yeast, drinkable and complex
Perfectly paired with aged cheeses, white meats, spicy cuisine, or as a tasting beer in a 33cl bottle.
