Wandering Mina
Mina Vagante — Imperial IPA — Birra Amiata
Mina Vagante is the Imperial IPA by Birra Amiata, a craft brewery from Arcidosso (Grosseto, Tuscany), at the foot of Mount Amiata. A powerful and heavily hopped beer, yet very balanced: something truly explosive, noticeable as soon as you open it, even before pouring. The first aromas are of grapefruit and peach, followed by strong bursts of resin. The malt contribution gives it an amber color and, on the palate, a good caramel base structure. The alcohol just above 8% does the rest, for a sumptuous and satisfying drink.
