Birrificio Pratorosso

Birrificio Pratorosso — Centuries-Old Roots in the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano

Birrificio Pratorosso was founded in 2010, but its story has roots that go back over a century. The great-grandfather De Ponti farmed these lands in the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano — and the company still carries his surname today as a tribute to that agricultural tradition.

Near an ancient farmhouse, vast barley fields stretch to the horizon. The brewery takes its name from this landscape: "Pràa Russ" in the local dialect, the red meadow that colors these lands.

The passion for beer started long ago and over time became a profession. A family story intertwined with love for the places where one is born, for nature, and for the planet.
