Brasserie de la Senne — The Heart of the Craft Beer Revolution in Brussels
Brasserie de la Senne is the brewery that has most driven the craft beer revolution in Brussels. Born from the idea of master brewer and beer historian Yvan De Baets and Bernard Leboucq, its story began in 2002 with the first Zinnebir — produced as a hobby before the brewery even existed — today one of the cornerstones of the entire production.
The Philosophy: Bitter, Flavorful, Light
In total contrast to Belgian tradition: beers that are very flavorful but light in alcohol, hopped with the citrusy and tropical aromas of the new world, dry thanks to native yeasts. Gems like Zinnebir, Taras Boulba, and Brussels Calling are proof of this.
