Among the Belgian Trappist breweries, Rochefort is one of the most well-known and beloved. Often confused with the tasty French cheese — which is actually called "Roquefort" — will we ever stop making this mistake? Probably not, but it’s part of beer folklore.

The Three Wonders

• Rochefort 6 — the lightest in the line, amber and spicy, with great drinkability
• Rochefort 8 — the heart of the production: complex, fruity, with notes of caramel and spices
• Rochefort 10 — the most famous, one of the greatest beers in the world: dense, enveloping, for contemplation

In recent years, the brewery has expanded the range with the Triple (pink cap) — which, however, according to many, is not yet on par with the three wonders of the core line.
