Phobos
Phobos — Bock — Birrificio Sabino
Phobos is the Bock signed by Birrificio Sabino, an artisanal brewery from Poggio Mirteto (Rieti, Lazio). One of the latest labels released by the young Lazio producer, who decided to include in his core range an amber beer that had been missing from his lineup for years. With this Bock with a malted profile, he fully achieves the goal: Phobos is a beer with a full yet agile sip, respectful of traditional German examples in terms of balance and production techniques.

Sensory profile
On the nose, it is malty and enveloping: caramel, toasted bread, and dried fruit intertwine in a warm and inviting bouquet, typical of great German Bocks. On the palate, the sip is full but agile — the hallmark of a well-made Bock: structure without heaviness, malted sweetness without cloying. The finish is clean and balanced, with a pleasant lingering malt memory.
Why choose Phobos
- Bock respectful of German tradition — balance and production techniques in line with the best German examples: a Bock that knows its craft
- Full but agile sip — the challenge of a well-made Bock: perfect balance of structure and drinkability
- Birrificio Sabino — a young Lazio brewery from Poggio Mirteto with steady growth, offering an increasingly complete and ambitious range
- The missing Bock — a significant addition to the Sabino range: the amber beer that completed the puzzle
